Jake Kodet

Jake is 14 and from Morgan, MN. He is currently in the 8th grade at Cedar Mountain Middle School in Morgan, MN. Jake has been around horses all of his life and has been riding since a very young age. His passion for horses and their training is quite evident as he has put in a lot of hard work at Redwood Stables since starting his internship there in December 2018. Jakes other hobbies include hunting and fishing. His main passion is roping, including breakaway roping, tie-down roping and team roping. He recently purchased a 10 year old Frenchman’s Guy bred gelding named Kodiak. Jake has put in a lot of time on Kodiak and he is turning into a great roping horse. The skills he is learning at Redwood Stables will help him in the future as he wishes to pursue rodeo and a career within the horse industry.
